I've (finally) posted a new episode. It's on the official

I'm going to Las Vegas this weekend with Paul, Nick and
Elliott. I'm hoping to shoot a lot of "behind the scenes"
footage for next week's episode.
My apologies to everyone for not responding to the comments,
here and on the main site. I read them all, actually,
every day. It means a lot to me that guys take
the time to tell me what they think, even if it's
negative. But I never seem to respond to them.
Honestly, I'm just not good at
that.
It's cool that Jay saw me on the street. I do live in the
Haight. If you see me around town, definitely say hello.
It'd be fun to meet some of you guys.
Anyway, I hope you like the new episode.

ReplyDeleteI just watched and listened to your last episode, #45 Shadowbox. I was entranced by it the first time, but this time it was almost like actually using your eyes and ears. It seems not so much melancholy as visceral. Your choice of soundtrack is what did the trick. I began to feel what, perhaps, you see and feel. It was quite affecting. I hope you ealise that you are creating a new genre of video art. I am amazed by these episodes.
ReplyDeletePerhaps when you finish this project, you will try the same thing with a straight porn company or some other source altogether. I have never seen anything quite like this. It is something beyond ordinary documentary.

If not then it's probably up to him how often he posts and a bit rude of you to complain to him without first thanking him for his great work. Having said that, I hope you're okay, Ryan. I hope the silence on your blog is you having a good time, not the reverse.
