Episode #39: Jamie's Turn (2' 04")
A new episode from my life at TIM.
I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks to everyone for all the comments and
emails. Even if it's highly critical it's great
to hear from you.
I've been hearing that some of the early episodes
aren't playing right on this blog site. If you're interested
and would like a complete copy of the first 22 or 23
episode on a DVD let me know. I'll burn one for you,
no charge.
Just send me an email with your address and I'll
get it to you as soon as I can burn it.
You should probably mention that you're over 18 (or is it 21?).

Okay, maybe the biblical quote is spam to get people looking into the bible further, but "we injected the posion anally"? Deliberately playing into the hands of critics is kinda under-graduate; consumption of porn seems at a remove from ethical concerns/debates to me, but this conflation - like knowing that the top is straight and a bore - reads like anti-marketing to me...
ReplyDeleteSTOP THIS EVIL! IF YOU THINK BRINGING A HOLY BOOK INTO YOUR FOUL WORK MAKES YOU CLEAN, YOU ARE WRONG. I CONDEMN YOU AND YOUR EFFORTS TO CORRUPT GAY SEX. I AM TEMPTED TO CALL THE LAW ON YOU.
ReplyDeleteWho the hell is this guy with the shaved head?? I am in LOVE! HOTTTT!! I'd buy him a gun anyday :-)~~~~
ReplyDeleteVideo like film is an art work. Its sad that some people do not realize that you are an artist. The images you are portraying are no different than an painter who paints an execution scene. The same individuals who are complaining about your videos are the same guys who are first in line to watch a Die Hard Movie . People it is fiction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePart of the problem is that Ryan hasn't really provided any context for the "kill" scenes.
ReplyDeleteI thought this was supposed to be a "documentary" (like I said before, it feels more like a reality show to me) about TIM. Then out of nowhere he mixes in these kill scenes, without any real explanation. A documentary isn't fiction. It would be as if in the middle of "Sicko" Michael Moore mixed in fictional scenes of him "killing" sick patients. Now if it were insurance company executives it might be seen as comic relief. But sick patients he's otherwise advocating for would seem out of place. Seeing "hustlers" and nude men getting murdered mixed in with a documentary about gay porn is unsettling to say the least. Add in the question of Ryan's sexual orientation. And yes, it does sometimes matter. If Cruising had been made by a gay director or Hellbent made by a straight one, the reactions might have been very different.

You guys are way too serious. May I ask a simple question... why are some of you here? I mean, really?
ReplyDeleteTo Ryan... Love it. Keep up your creative work. I'm following you, as I am sure others are too. With much interest.
Peace.

ReplyDeleteGET A NAME!!!!
my only problem is you help TIM push the fiction that this guy is straight. you're so forthright in everything else, why toe the line with this model's "image." you can tell from that brief clip at the beginning that he fucks around with guys off camera - he's not that good of a liar.
ReplyDeleteI'm with dad lover! yummy!
ReplyDeleteAs for the kill scene, the rope looked way too new. Of course new rope has less traceable DNA and would be chosen by a serial killer. Maybe a cotton rope would film better. Keep up the good work.
I am from nebraska too, but unlike you i am still stuck here. if your ever in the omaha area give me a shout out.

first off isn't the model chad brock who has been in many films already?and as to the killings, why are you killing?give us a reason.
ReplyDeleteI've been following from the start, Ryan. I've reserved any judgment or critique, waiting for the ah-ha! moment. Art, in my experience, is always controversial. Art that isn't controversial matches your sofa or drapes. Art is frequently disturbing. I'm disturbed by what I'm seeing, but that doesn't mean it is to be condemned or censored.
ReplyDeleteYour project lost some of its veracity when you went on TIM payroll, unfortunately. It became suspect -- a marketing ploy by Paul Morris?
The "kills" mixed in with the TIM stuff -- can't help but see the corallary, particularly in this last episode. So Ryan, are you making a statement about the lethality of a barebacking enterprise putting money in someone's pocket? Or barebacking in general?
I'm disturbed. That's okay. And if it sucks in the end, then so be it.
Timbooty
the "controversial" aspect of this doesn't interest me... i've followed the films from day 1, my only challenge is context. as others have mentioned - there is no context for the killings.
ReplyDeleteother than that, i love the documentary style - it's a peek into TIM that i personally love.
the killing stuff just distracts. unless you truly are doing a commentary on barebacking as a form of murder.
yawn
ReplyDeletei think your work is great, Ryan. YOu don't need a context at all to show those murders. Yhey are a whole in themselves. Actually as somebody said it above as a painter painting an execution on a canvas. It is great stuff. don't listen to the stone men above. Just keep the great job!!!
ReplyDeleteThe top fucking him is TIM's Derek Anthony.
ReplyDeleteWhen and where can I get that full scene?! The victim is totally hot and I need to see more of him, NOW!
ReplyDeleteThe DVD is not out yet but it should be soon.
ReplyDeleteur are obvious talented but i hope to make sure that the guy know what he is getting into and that he probably just got hiv or other stds.. and with a family at home that is dangerous for his wife and his kids.. please try to consider the innocent
ReplyDeleteGET A LIFE MAN!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAn artist like you should ride the BUS!
YOU ARE SO SICK!
